Nanango’s Local Ambulance Committee has raised an amazing amount from their inaugural “Bogan Bingo” night last Saturday.

Secretary Vanessa Hines said the evening, held at the St Patrick’s School Hall, raised just under $4000.

The hall was packed with local residents sporting flannos, beanies, baseball caps and footy jumpers for the night of fun.

Vanessa said the money raised would be put towards refurbishing the training mannequins at the Nanango Ambulance Station.

And the night had been such a success, the committee was now thinking about possibly making it an annual event.
