May 12, 2023

Three women – all friends – have taken over the walls of the Wondai Regional Art Gallery this month with their exhibition, “Silently Drawn”.

The trio say they are united in their love of nature and on a journey to discover true art.

Kingaroy artist Tania Corbet is experimenting with all sorts of media, while Wendy Olsen is primarily a botanical landscape artist.

Wendy Patterson’s works this month focus on Australian birds, using the medium of coloured pencils.

The exhibition has brought together an eclectic mix of colourful works using multiple media.

Gallery patron Ros Heit officially opened the exhibition last Friday night.

The works will be on display until 3:00pm on May 27.

The gallery is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Entry is free.
