Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s SMILE program (Supporting Mental Health through Information, Leadership and Education) will be hosting the next KCCI meet’n’greet.
The monthly get-together for local businesspeople will be held at the KCCI Hub at 195 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy.
It will be a MORNING event, scheduled to start at 6:45am on Tuesday, March 28.
Guest speakers will include:
- Bunyarra Wellness Co
- Katherine Watson – The Small Business Financial Counselling Service
- Anne Boyle – The Rural Financial Counselling Service
- Ross Leggett – CEO Rural & Small Business Financial Counselling Service
- Jacqui Trace – KCCI Vice President and Co-ordinator KCCI SMILE Initiative
Cost is $10 for KCCI members or $15 for non-members.

February Meet’n’Greet
SB Hire & Sales hosted the KCCI’s February meet’n’greet.
Owner Aleisha Gray told the gathered crowd that she and her husband had bought the business just seven months ago.
“It’s been a challenge, but it’s also been amazing,” she said.
“We have received so much support from local business.
“We now have a team of seven, and we have an apprentice mechanic joining soon, too.”
She said the focus for the business over the next few years would be on diversifying its range: “big city range, small town service”.
Aleisha said they also planned to increase capacity so they could tender for local projects.
“We want to be able to offer hire equipment to industrial projects as well as mums and dads,” she said.
