A man in his 60s was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital after being cut free from his crashed vehicle at Boyneside on Saturday evening.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway, near the intersection with Mannuem Road, about 5:30pm.

The first responders on the scene found the man’s vehicle had run off the highway and hit a tree.

The driver was still trapped inside the vehicle.

A QAS spokesperson said the man was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition, with significant chest and abdominal pain.

Earlier on Saturday, emergency services were called to a single-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway at Benarkin.

QAS paramedic assessed two male teenagers at the scene, but neither required transportation to hospital.

On Sunday night, five people – including three children – were assessed by paramedics after a vehicle hit a cow on Speedwell-Abbeywood Road, near Abbeywood-Gayndah Road at Stalworth, about 6:40pm.

A QAS spokesperson said a man in his 30s was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with neck and wrist injuries.

A woman in her 30s and three children were not injured.
