A man aged in his 60s suffered serious leg injuries in a tractor accident on a property in South East Nanango on Saturday evening.

Emergency services were called to the incident, on a private property off Hamilton Road, at 5:55pm.

It’s believed the man’s tractor crashed into a tree, pinning him by the lower leg.

He was freed by QFES crews and treated at the scene by QAS paramedics.

An RACQ LifeFlight helicopter landed near the scene a short time later.

The injured man was then airlifted in a serious by stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

A man aged in his 30s was flown to hospital after a farming accident on a rural property north of Toowoomba on Saturday afternoon.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed the man, aged in his 30s, was clearing rubbish when he cut one of his wrists severely .

The man’s quick-thinking partner was able to perform preliminary first aid to stanch the blood loss until ambulance paramedics reached the scene.

LifeFlight’s Land Rover rescue helicopter was called into action at 3:30pm and was able to land at the property.

The man was flown in a stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital with multiple traumatic injuries.

A patient was taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a motorcycle crash on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident, on a private property at South Nanango, at 10:10am.
