A woman aged in her 60s had to be cut free from her overturned car after single-vehicle crash near Kilkivan on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the Wide Bay Highway at 3:08pm.

They found the woman trapped inside the wreckage, unable to free herself.

QFES crews stabilised the car before working to free her.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was also despatched to the scene and landed near the crash site.

The LifeFlight aeromedical crew and QAS paramedics treated the woman – who is believed to have suffered spinal injuries – at the scene.

She was then airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

A driver was transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident, near Blackbutt, just before 12:30pm.

QAS paramedics were called to a single-vehicle crash near the Wide Bay / Bruce Highway roundabout at Bells Bridge on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called at 6:09am.

A woman suffered minor injuries and was transported in a stable condition to Gympie Hospital.

QFES hazmat crews were called to Hivesville on Sunday afternoon after reports a vehicle was leaking fuel.

Two crews were called to the incident in Main Street just before 1:30pm.

A QFES spokesperson said the crews had made the scene safe by 2:20pm but remained on site until mechanics and a tow truck arrived.
