More than 200 people are now being treated for COVID-19 in Queensland hospitals, the latest statistics released by Queensland Health reveal.

At midnight on November 8, there were 202 COVID patients in hospital, including nine in intensive care.

This compares with 105 in hospital on November 2, including three in ICU.

Another 15 deaths in Queensland were announced on Friday morning, taking the State’s death toll for the past six weeks to 102.

A total of 2303 people have now died in Queensland since the pandemic began in early 2020.

Individual statistics for the Darling Downs Health Region are no longer available.
