Police are investigating recent break-ins and thefts in Murgon and Wondai.

Between 12:30pm and 1:30pm on September 6, thieves stole a wallet and keys from a home in Hanley Lane, Murgon.

Between 5:45pm and 6:30pm on the same day, a yellow bicycle was stolen from a garage in Gore Street, Murgon.

Between 9:00am on September 10 and 1:00am on September 11, thieves attempted to break into an education facility building in Macalister Street, Murgon.

After unsuccessfully trying to gain entry to the building, they allegedly damaged pot plants and stole food.

Between 8:00am on September 11 and 7:30am on September 12, thieves damaged roller doors to break into the Wondai Wolves’ canteen at the Wondai Sportsground.

They then stole food items from a freezer.

Between 2:45pm and 3:00pm on September 11, would-be thieves attempted to gain entry to another sporting club located on the Bunya Highway at Wondai.

They damaged a sprinkler and a CCTV camera but failed to gain entry.

  1. Low-life bastards probably never worked a day in their life or volunteered at a sporting club. Should be publicly named and shamed as they will never be held accountable by the courts.
