The rain on Saturday tested the organisers of the State Titles raced at the Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway track at the weekend.

However, after a delay on Saturday morning, all the racing went ahead as planned at the Kingaroy Showgrounds.

The State Solos titles for the Under 16s 125cc and 250cc were contested as well as the Under 16s 125cc Best Pairs.

The 125cc events were held on Saturday while the bigger bikes were in action on Sunday morning.

The motorcycle racing track was damp, but was nowhere near as muddy as Kingaroy’s main speedway track which competitors and their support teams had to cross to enter the grounds!
