South Burnett Saints kicked six goals in their clash against Dalby on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough to shoot down the Swans.
The final score was 14.23-107 to 6.4-40.
Saints’ goal kickers were Kerry Davison (2), Brad Pressnell, Keegan Wright, Blake Jacobson and Jeremy Zaccardi.
On Saturday, the Saints men will be playing University Cougars at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy from 2:30pm.
They will be hoping for a big crowd to cheer them on during their last game for season 2022.
The Saints’ women’s team played their last game of the season last Saturday, also against the Dalby Swans.
They finished in fifth spot on the ladder which means they have missed out on getting into to finals.
Their last game was a low-scoring affair: Dalby 3.4-22 to South Burnett 2.3-15.
The club’s annual awards night will be held on September 17.
