A person was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a collision at Memerambi on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services were called about 3:40pm to the crash, which involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.

The incident occurred at the intersection of the Bunya Highway and Recreation Drive.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said a 39-year-old Tingoora man riding a Suzuki motorcycle collided with the rear of a Mitsubishi SUV after it slowed due to a vehicle directly ahead of it turning right.

The motorcycle rider suffered a broken leg.

Earlier on Tuesday, a person was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a vehicle struck a pole in Wondai.

The incident occurred about 10:00am near the intersection of Edward and Scott streets.
