Sunday’s big Christmas-themed fundraiser for Relay For Life is still going ahead, despite Friday’s rain.
Chrissy Trees 4 U’s Debbie Bunker confirmed on Friday evening that Sunday’s event at her Christmas Tree farm will be going ahead as the rain had cleared.
The fun event will run from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Entry is via a gold coin donation.
There’ll be market stalls, face painting, popcorn, fairy floss, food and coffee vans, biscuit decorating and fun competitions.
A Christmas Tree Decorating competition – which was a huge hit at Chrissy Trees 4 U’s last fun day in October – will also be happening.
This has a separate $20 entry fee.
Entry into the Ugly Sweater competition is just $5.
All funds raised on the day will go towards the South Burnett’s Relay For Life fundraising campaign for Cancer Council Queensland.
Chrissy Trees 4 U is located at 328 Reedy Creek Road, Benair (ie. just south-west of Kingaroy).
