Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a young man, last seen on Wednesday in Brisbane.
His family believe the 17-year-old may try to travel to the Cherbourg area.
They hold concerns for his welfare due to his age and a medical condition.
The teenager is 175cm tall with facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, grey trackpants, a dark blue hat, dark grey shoes and carrying a shoulder bag.
Investigators urge the teenager, or anyone with information of his whereabouts, to contact police on 13-14-44.
