Keegan Wright kicked a double for the South Burnett Saints in their away game against the Goondiwindi Hawks on Saturday.

But it was still a long trip home for the team, after they went down 17.21-123 to 2.3-15 at Riddles Oval in Goondiwindi.

The margin against the Hawks was a bit kinder for the Saints women, who were behind 13.5-83 to 2.0-12 when the final whistle blew.

The Saints will be back at home in Kingaroy this weekend.

The Saints women will take on the Dalby Swans at 12:45pm on Saturday at Lyle Vidler Oval.

The men’s game against Dalby will start at 2:30pm.
