Murgon police are investigating a number of thefts which have occurred recently in the local area.
A some time between midnight on May 13 and midnight on May 19, thieves stole a generator and a trailer from a property in Olsens Road, Cushnie. The trailer has a Queensland registration (956-UDD).
Police are also investigating the theft of an orange KTM motorbike from a house in Marshall Street, Cherbourg. The thieves gained entry between noon on Sunday and 1:00am on Monday.
About 7:00pm on May 16, two purses and two mobile phones were stolen from a vehicle parked in the front car park of a medical facility in Cherbourg after thieves smashed a passenger side window.
Between 3:00am and 3:30am on May 19, a person entered a home in Wondai-Proston Road, Kinleymore, via an unlocked back door. The occupant woke and told the offender to leave.

Drugs
- A 47-year-old Murgon woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with possessing a drug utensil after police searched a house in Perkins Street, Murgon, on May 16. A 15-year-old Murgon boy was issued with a drug diversion order.
- A 38-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with drug possession (cannabis) after police searched a house in Broadway Street, Cherbourg, on May 19.
- A 23-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with possessing a drug utensil after police searched a house in Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg, on May 19.
- A 24-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with possessing drugs (cannabis) and a drug utensil after police searched a house in Bond Street, Cherbourg, on May 19. A 15-year-old Cherbourg girl was cautioned for possessing a drug utensil.
- A 26-year-old Murgon woman and a 29-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with possessing drugs (cannabis) and drug utensils after a search of a house in Watt Street, Murgon, on May 19.
- At 1:35pm on May 19, police executed a search warrant at a house in Perkins Street, Murgon, and allegedly located prescription drugs not prescribed to the person. Investigations are continuing.
- About 10:00am on May 21, a vehicle was intercepted on Cherbourg Road, Cherbourg. The occupants of the vehicle were detained for a search. During this, it is alleged a woman threw a clip seal bag containing amphetamines into long grass. Police also allegedly located Ritalin tablets in the vehicle and on the occupant. A 29-year-old Cherbourg woman has been charged with drug possession and obstructing police. She is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21.

Traffic
- An 18-year-old Murgon woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 2 charged with drug-driving after police stopped a vehicle on the Bunya Highway at 8:38am on May 19.
- A 32-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a vehicle in Gore Street, Murgon, about 11:50am on May 21. The driver allegedly blew 0.138 BAC, more than twice the legal limit.
- About 7:45am on May 21, a two-vehicle traffic accident occurred on the Bunya Highway, Wondai. No one was injured during the incident but a 30-year-old Murgon woman was issued with a ticket for failing to keep left.
