A motorbike rider has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after a collision with a vehicle near Woolooga on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Bauple-Woolooga Road at 1:25pm.

The RACQ LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene and landed in a clearing beside the road.

The man, aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with serious leg and arm injuries.

He travelled under the care of a critical care doctor.
