A rescue helicopter was called after two motorcyclists were injured in a collision at South Nanango on Saturday afternoon.

A QAS spokesperson said two motorcycles were involved in the incident near the corner of Hazeldean and West Dugdell roads about 12:10pm.

One of the motorbikes was reportedly parked on the side of a road when it was hit by a second motorbike.

Both riders suffered injuries.

The first rider, a man aged in his sixties, suffered head and abdominal injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The second man, also aged his sixties, received serious leg injuries and was transported to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance.

A rider has been injured in a second motorbike crash in the local region on Saturday afternoon.

The rider was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after the incident on Palms Road, near Cooyar, about 2:45pm.

A person has been transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a mower rolled over at Wengenville on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a property on Saddletree Creek Road just after 4:15pm.
