The South Burnett is showing off its rural excellence at the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Three local young people have starred in various competitions, demonstrating the future of local agriculture is in good hands!

Chloe Plowman, from Kingaroy, has been sashed the 2022 National ASA Young Beef Parader.

Chloe has previously represented the South Burnett in a number of championships at the Brisbane Ekka, and is a familiar face in local show competitions.

Corey Evans, who works as a sales agent and auctioneer at Aussie Land & Livestock in Kingaroy, was runner-up in the prestigious national ALPA Young Auctioneers competition.

He was just pipped by Will Claridge from Inverell in NSW.

The third successful South Burnett entrant at the Easter Show was Nanango poultry fancier Michael English who won the National Poultry Young Judges championship.
