Some of Australia’s top junior motocross riders will be coming to Kingaroy this weekend to take part in the Sunshine State MX series.

Round 3 will be raced at the South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club track on Saturday and Sunday (April 2-3).

More than 420 bikes have been entered over the two days, competing in classes ranging from Mini Lites through to Pro and Veteran.

Some of riders who will be competing include top professionals such as Aaron Tanti, Kirk Gibbs and Lochie Latimer.

The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club track is located on Edenvale South Road, behind Kingaroy Airport.

A small group of club volunteers have been working hard over the past few weekends to have the track in top condition for the event.

Spectator entry is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

A full canteen and bar available will also be operating.
