A 50-year-old Goomeri woman has been charged with driving more than four times over the legal limit after her vehicle was pulled over by police in Goomeri on Sunday.

Police stopped the vehicle in Moore Street about 1:00pm after they allegedly saw it swerving from side-to-side in the lane and crossing the centre line.

The woman allegedly failed a roadside breath test.

She was then taken to Murgon Police Station for a second test where she allegedly blew 0.234 BAC.

The woman will appear in Gympie Magistrates Court on March 3.

About 2:05pm on February 2, police from Kilkivan were conducting patrols on the Wide Bay Highway, east of Kilkivan, when they spotted a dark blue motorcycle allegedly doing 121km/h in the 100km/h zone.

Police pulled over the motorcycle and conducted a roadside breath test.

The ride, a 56-year-old Kilkivan man, allegedly recorded 0.079 BAC when tested again at Kilkivan Police Station.

He will appear in Gympie Magistrates Court on February 17 charged with drink-driving, speeding and other traffic-related matters.
