Nanango Race Club will be holding its first race meeting for the year – the always popular Valentine’s Day annual event – at Lee Park on Saturday (February 12).

The meeting’s theme is “Pretty In Pink” and guests are encouraged to dress up in their best outfits to be in the running for some great prizes.

Buses will be running from Kingaroy’s Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the rear of the Fitzroy Hotel at 12:25pm.

Gates will open at the track at 10:00am and the first race will leave the barriers at 1:30pm.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free).

The event will be run under COVID-19 safe restrictions, and Queensland Racing have ruled that all guests will need to be double-vaxxed to enter the course.

Guests will be asked to show proof of vaccination at the entry gates.
