Bullcamp Rural Fire Brigade is one of a number of local brigades which have benefited from a program run by the Heritage Bank Nanango.

In September 2020, Heritage offered a one-off support grant of $10,000 to rural fire brigades in its local area.

The grants were to purchase equipment that would specifically be used in the control of fires.

Heritage offered the grants in recognition of the work done by the volunteer firefighters.

Bullcamp RFB applied and was successful in obtaining a grant to buy a 2000 litre bulk water tank on a trailer.

“This will also provide water to other units on the fireground,” Bullcamp RFB secretary Doug Beck said.

“The Bullcamp RFB took delivery of the water trailer at its meeting on August 29.

“Mr David Kenny, a Heritage Bank director, attended the handover.

“The Bullcamp RFB volunteers and members of the wider community are always appreciative for the generous support of the Heritage Bank Nanango.”
