The merger of the Queensland Dairyfarmers Organisation members with NSW-based Dairy Connect will go ahead on December 1.
The new body will be known as eastAUSmilk.
The QDO and Dairy Connect have been exploring a possible merger for years.
On Wednesday, QDO members voted at an Extraordinary General Meeting to amend the QDO constitution to include NSW.
QDO president Brian Tessmann said 104 votes were cast, 96 in favour and eight against.
The EGM was held at the Kilcoy Visitor Information Centre.
