Illegal drugs have been a continuing focus for Kingaroy Police during the past week.

  • On October 25, police searched an home in Siefert Street, Crawford. The occupant, a 35-year-old Crawford woman, was allegedly found with a small quantity of methylamphetamine. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on December 13 charged with drug possession.
  • On October 26, police were called to a food outlet in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy, about 9:20pm after a woman was disturbed in the rear of the premises.  The woman allegedly fled with three bottles of coconut water. A 45-year-old Kingaroy woman was subsequently located nearby. A police search allegedly located the stolen property plus a drug syringe. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court later this month charged with theft and failing to dispose of a syringe.
  • On October 28, police searched a home in Webster Street, Kingaroy, about 4:00pm. The 43-year-old occupant was allegedly found with a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 29 charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils.
