A teenage boy suffered chest injuries when he fell while riding in the South East Queensland Junior MX Series in Kingaroy at the weekend.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter was despatched to the Edenvale track on Sunday about 2:20pm.

QAS paramedics treated the teenager at the scene before transferring him to the waiting helicopter.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Paramedics attended to other minor incidents at the track on Saturday and Sunday.

On-track paramedics were quickly on the scene to assist after a young rider took a fall on Saturday morning
