A COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination clinic will be held at Cherbourg Hospital’s outpatient department next week.

The clinic will provide first and second doses with walk-ins welcome during clinic hours.

The clinic is open to everyone aged 12 years and over.

If you need transport to and from the hospital for your vaccination, call Cherbourg Hospital on (07) 4169-8800.

The clinic will return for second doses in November.

The opening hours for the clinic are:

  • Tuesday, October 12, 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Wednesday, October 13, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Anyone with concerns about the vaccine has been urged by Darling Downs Health to talk to their doctor or health care worker to get the most up-to-date and correct information.

People who attend the clinic should bring along their ID and a Medicare card.

  • Cherbourg 30.2 per cent first dose; 19.0 per cent fully vaccinated
  • Gympie 63.3 / 44.3
  • Somerset 63.4 / 45.2
  • South Burnett 60.4 / 39.9
  • Toowoomba 70.1 / 49.7
