Fire crews were in action on Monday night tackling a grassfire which broke out along the Burnett Highway, north of Goomeri.
Seven fire trucks – both urban and rural – were called to the blaze near Tierney Road just after 6:15pm.
An area of about 26ha was burning, but a QFES spokesperson said there was no threat to property.
Firefighters conducted backburning and had the fire contained just before 8:00pm.
The last crew left the scene just after 10:00pm.

Two fire crews were called to a small fire in a house in Wieden Street, Kingaroy, on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called at 6:50pm.
Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire burning in a light fitting in the bathroom.
They ventilated the building before leaving about 7:30pm.
