A 29-year-old Cherbourg man died in a single-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway, near Nanango, on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle rollover at 6:49am at Sandy Ridges after a passing motorist spotted the vehicle.

QAS paramedics attended but sadly the man had died at the scene.

Preliminary investigations indicate the 2008 green-gold Holden Commodore rolled several times.

The Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicle travelling on the highway on Friday morning to contact them.

Anyone with relevant dashcam footage are also asked to contact police.

The incident blocked traffic on the highway for several hours.

A man aged in his 70s escaped serious injuries when two vehicles collided on the Bunya Highway, near Murgon, on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to this incident at 8:45am.

They assessed one person at the scene but a QAS spokesperson said he declined transport to hospital.

A medevac helicopter airlifted a man to Toowoomba Hospital for assessment after a single-vehicle crash at Taromeo on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called about 11:14am.

Paramedics assessed the man at the scene, who had no obvious injuries from the crash.
