Queensland Health issued a public alert on Sunday afternoon for several COVID-19 contact tracing locations in the Gold Coast region, Chermside, Nundah and Banyo.

The new venues relate to a man who was infectious when he entered Queensland on July 14 from NSW.

He has since been linked to the Queensland flight attendant who tested positive on Thursday.

A Qld Health spokesperson said all Queenslanders should regularly monitor the list of exposure venues and follow the public health advice.

And anyone with any COVID-19 symptoms at any time, no matter how mild, you should immediately get tested.

UPDATE: Gold Coast locations include Helensvale, Bundall and Broadbeach Waters.
