The Darling Downs Health mobile women’s health nurses have clinics planned in Goomeri, Kilkivan, Blackbutt and Kingaroy next month.

They will be at Goomeri Community Health and Kilkivan Community Health on Monday, August 16.

On August 15, a clinic will be held at the Kingaroy Medical Centre, phone (07) 4564-7101.

And on August 26, the women’s health nurse will be at the Blackbutt Medical Centre, phone (07) 4169-8203.

The clinics are free and confidential and offer a range of services, including cervical screening tests, breast awareness, sexual health testing and advice for issues such as incontinence, menopause, family planning, contraception and general wellbeing.

Bookings can be made by phoning 0408-762-170.

Health nurse Kathy Anning said the mobile women’s health clinics were an easy, fuss-free way to ensure health tests were up-to-date.

“Our clinics are a great opportunity for women to seek help for anything that is concerning them,” Ms Anning said.
