Country music lovers should be making a beeline to The Shed in Nanango next Friday night (July 23) to catch a top night of entertainment with a distinctly local flavour.

The South Burnett’s own Lloyd Back – whose single “When I’m With You” has spent seven weeks at number one this year on the Country Songs Australia Top 40 – will be playing alongside Lindsay Waddington and Alan Caswell.

This chart measures radio airplay across Australia, and Lloyd’s single has bounced to the top spot three times!

Alan Caswell, who penned the theme to the TV show Prisoner, is a multiple Golden Guitar winner, while Lindsay Waddington (or “Waddo” as he’s known) has enjoyed multiple Golden Guitar nominations and has been inducted into the Australian Country Music “Hands of Fame” in Tamworth.

Caswell – who plays country music with a blues feel – and instrumentalist Waddington play together as “Lynchburg” but all three musicians will be taking turns on the stage at The Shed, playing individually and together.

Lloyd will also be promoting his latest album, Strong Love, which features eight original songs plus a cover of a Charley Pride hit.

Tickets for the night at The Shed are available for $20 from Jane Erkens.

To book, phone 0400-631-677.
