Two people have been charged – and investigations are continuing into unrelated incidents – after alleged thefts in Murgon.

Between May 24 and June 12, a television was taken from an address in McLucas Street, Murgon.

About 12:40am on June 14, a man entered an address on Centenary Court, Murgon, and tried to open doors before stealing food from an outdoor fridge.

Investigations into both incidents are continuing.

A 25-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on June 29 charged with stealing after food was allegedly taken on multiple occasions from a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.

An 18-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 13 charged with stealing after items were allegedly taken from a business in Lamb Street.

Murgon police are investigating two incidents of wilful damage which occurred in Cherbourg on June 19.

While police were dealing with another matter in Fisher Street, two youths allegedly used an unknown implement to shatter the window of a police car before running away.

Between 7:00pm and 11:30pm on the same day, an unknown person damaged a window of a house in Marshall Street.
