Kingaroy’s Chloe Plowman will be representing the region during the Brisbane Ekka in August after taking out two titles at the recent South Burnett Sub-Chamber finals.

Chloe not only won the Young Paraders competition held on June 6 at Nanango Showgrounds, but also took out the Prime Beef Cattle Judge category.

Young Paraders runner-up was Nateesha Taylor, from Kingaroy.

The runner-up in the Prime Beef Cattle Judge competition was Jessica Beddows, from Cloyna.

Chloe is no stranger to Ekka success. She won the Champion School Parader title at the 2019 Ekka.

Joining Chloe in Brisbane will be Stud Beef Cattle Judge winner Charleigh Tucker, Dalby. 

Ironically, Charleigh will be representing the Darling Downs Sub-Chamber in the Prime Beef Cattle competition.

The runner-up in the Stud Beef judging was Romana Ricketts, Murgon.

The South Burnett’s representatives in the Showgirl, Rural Ambassador and Dark Rich Fruit Cake competitions will be announced this Saturday (June 19) at the Sub-Chamber dinner which will be held at the Wondai Diggers Club.

NB. The South Burnett Sub-Chamber Ute Muster winners were announced at the Nanango Show.
