A woman has been airlifted to hospital in stable condition after a single-vehicle crash near Blackbutt on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 6:25am.

The woman’s vehicle rolled down an embankment and landed on its roof.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper was despatched and was able to land nearby.

The aeromedical team worked alongside QAS paramedics to stabilise the woman, aged in her twenties.

She was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for further treatment.

The crash blocked the highway while emergency services were on the scene.
