The upcoming Kingaroy Show is in urgent need of volunteers to help the annual event run smoothly on May 1-2.
South Burnett National Show Society president / secretary Craig Lucas is looking for individuals or groups who can help man the gates and the canteen.
The gates need to be looked after from 6:00am to 8:00pm on the Saturday (May 1) and from 6:00am to 9:00pm on the Sunday (May 2).
The Show Society also hopes an organisation would be willing to take on organising the canteen.
Craig said it was a great fundraising opportunity for community groups or sporting clubs.

Craig also invited interested people to help out at a working bee which will be held at the showgrounds this Sunday (April 18) from 10:00am.

Kingaroy’s 2021 Showgirl and Rural Ambassador will be sashed at the Show Dinner which will be held on Friday night (April 16) at Kingaroy RSL Club.
