A truck driver escaped injury but more than 20 head of cattle died after a cattle truck tipped on the Burnett Highway near Goomeri on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 10:00am.

The incident occurred just north of Goomeri.

Traffic on the highway was delayed as cattle which escaped from the B-Double were rounded up and injured animals euthanased.

The highway was fully cleared by 2:50pm.

A person was taken to hospital after a motorcycle crash on a property off Mt Binga Road near Kooralgin on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called at 12:16pm.

The injured rider was transported to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
