The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting a “facade improvement” workshop next week for Kingaroy businesses and building owners.

The workshop is aimed at business owners thinking about updating their shopfronts to capitalise on Council’s Kingaroy Transformation Project.

It will be held on Tuesday, March 23, from 5:30pm at Kingaroy Town Hall but for COVID purposes, an RSVP is necessary.

Guest speakers will be from Crowies Paints (upgrading while maintaining heritage), Kay Apparel and Home Butcher Supplies (benefits of signage), Kingaroy Joinery (a budgeted and staged approach to upgrades), Greenedge Design (approaches to architecture), Rixon Design (approaches to lighting designs) and Faunt and Emmet Real Estate (how upgrades can attract new tenants).

Representatives from the Kingaroy Transformation Project Team will also be in attendance to answer any questions around construction.

Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Attendees must RSVP by March 16 to KCCI secretary Paula Greenwood by email
