The popular “Coffee With A Cop” morning returned to Kingaroy on Friday after an enforced layoff due to COVID restrictions.

Police officers mingled with shoppers – and enjoyed a coffee or two with them – at Muffin Break in Kingaroy Shoppingworld.

“Coffee With A Cop” was introduced to Kingaroy in 2018 by Officer-in-Charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, and proved an instant hit.

Similar mornings have also been held in Murgon.

Residents have the opportunity to raise concerns with local police in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Community information brochures about crime reduction strategies were also available for residents to take home with them.
