The former Nanango Leos Club – junior members of Lions International – may be no more, but their legacy will live on.

A cheque for $1000, funds raised by the Nanango Leos, was presented to South Burnett Relay For Life chairperson Rowena Dionysius in Kingaroy recently.

Nanango Lions Club secretary Jenny Robinson said the Nanango Leos had always been great supporter of the South Burnett Relay For Life, under the guidance of the late Gay Harrod, a member of the Nanango Lions.

“It was always a wonderful team effort and lots of good fun!” Jenny said.
