Two rescue helicopters were called to help patients after a serious collision at Woolooga on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Brooweena-Woolooga and Bauple-Woolooga roads at 11:06am.

A QAS spokesperson said six patients were treated at the scene.

A teenage girl was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with pelvic injuries.

A second helicopter carried a male child, with pelvic and abdominal injuries, and a female child, with unknown injuries, in a stable condition to the same hospital.

The remaining three patients – a man aged in his 30s, and male and female teenagers – were taken via road ambulance to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
