A 20-year-old Mt Kilcoy man died after a single-vehicle crash on the D’Aguilar Highway at Harlin in the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident about 2:30am.
A police spokesperson said the Hyundai stationwagon was travelling west along the D’Aguilar Highway when it left the highway and rolled down an embankment.
A 30-year-old Toogoolawah woman was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition with a leg injury.
The highway was blocked for several hours while Forensic Crash investigators were at the scene.
Traffic was being diverted via the Brisbane Valley Highway and Gregors Creek Road.
