A man has been airlifted to hospital with multiple injuries after he was crushed under a boat trailer in the South Burnett.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to assist the man at 5:00pm on Friday.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed the man had been working on the trailer, when it fell off a jack and crushed him.

Bystanders reportedly pulled him out from under the trailer.

Ambulance paramedics treated the man and transported him to a waiting helicopter.

The man, aged in his 40s, was then flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, in a stable condition.

Three people were taken by ambulance to Murgon Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway, near Murgon, on Friday evening.

Emergency services were called to the incident just after 8:00pm.

QAS paramedics assessed four people at the scene.

A QAS spokesperson said three were transported to hospital in a stable condition and the fourth did not require hospitalisation.
