South Burnett Regional Council is inviting tenders for the lease of the South Burnett Aquatic Centre at Nanango.
The successful tenderer would manage and operate the pool for two years, with a further option for three years unless terminated earlier.
Tenders opened on Wednesday and will close on September 2.
The successful tenderer must have a Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Service, Senior First Aid qualifications, Life Guard certification and ASCTA coaching qualifications.
They must also report monthly to Council the number of adults, seniors and children attending the complex each day, as well as the number of people using the hydrotherapy pool.
Council will cover the rates and provide 50 per cent of the electricity used at the complex as well as pool chemicals, tools and equipment necessary for the control of the filtration and chlorination plant.
