Three people were taken to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance after two vehicles collided at Coolabunia on Thursday night.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the D’Aguilar Highway at 6:22pm.

A Mazda utility, being driven by a 59-year-old Kingaroy man, was heading north when a Holden sedan allegedly turned in front of him into the Coolabunia rest area.

The driver of the Holden, a 24-year-old Blackbutt woman, was issued an infringement notice for failing to give way ($400 and three demerit points).

A QAS spokesperson said the three patients suffered minor injuries and were transported in a stable condition.

At 8:25pm, police were called to another crash on the D’Aguilar Highway, this time near George Green Road at South Nanango.

This single-vehicle crash caused some traffic disruptions but no injuries were reported.

A man aged in his 30s was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after his vehicle ran off the road at hit a tree near Durong on Friday morning.

QAS was called to the crash about 11:20am on Shellytop Road.

The man was assessed at the scene for spinal injuries.
