A 14-year-old Murgon boy is being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act after an alleged theft in Murgon.
A Murgon Police spokesperson said that between 3:00pm on July 11 and 8:00am on July 12, the boy allegedly entered an unlocked garage in Wallace Street, Murgon, and removed multiple items.

Between 9:50am and 3:00pm on Friday (July 17), unknown offenders damaged multiple windows at a residence in Perkins Street, Murgon. Investigations are continuing.

Traffic
- About 7:35pm on July 11, police intercepted a vehicle on Stan Mickelo Drive in Cherbourg for a roadside breath test. Checks allegedly revealed the driver was unlicensed. A 28-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 4 charged with drink-driving and unlicensed driving.
- A 58-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Cherbourg Magistrates Court on August 12 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a vehicle about 5:45pm on July 12 in Lamb Street, Murgon.
- A 66-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 4 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a vehicle in Lamb Street, Murgon, about 7:05pm on July 13.

Drugs
- About 8:30pm on July 10, police intercepted a vehicle on Lamb Street, Murgon, for a licence check. A subsequent search of the driver allegedly located drugs. A 21-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court August 25 charged with drug possession.

Police from Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai responded to a variety of incidents between July 10-17 including drug, traffic and property offences. They also attended 26 calls related to domestic violence, issued five infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 325 roadside breath tests.
