A man aged in his 30s was assessed by paramedics after a single-vehicle crash at Tarong on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to Nanango-Tarong Road at 5:18am after reports a vehicle had crashed into an embankment.

The driver was treated at the scene and transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a boy to hospital on Sunday night after he was injured in a trail bike accident near Gayndah.

It’s believed the primary school-aged boy had been riding his trailbike on a farm when he crashed into a barbed wire fence.

The boy managed to walk to his father, who was in a shed on the property.

QAS paramedics attended the scene and transported him to the local hospital.

LifeFlight then airlifted him to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight crew airlifted a woman to Bundaberg Hospital on Monday after she was injured in a motorbike accident while mustering cattle. 

It’s believed she was riding on a property, in the Burnett region, when her bike hit an ant nest and crashed.

The helicopter was despatched at 11:00am.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Critical Care Flight Paramedic and local QAS paramedics at the scene treated the patient for leg injuries.

The rescue crew then flew the woman, aged in her 50s, to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries.
