A 60-year-old man critically injured after falling from a moving vehicle in Wondai on Saturday night has died in hospital.
The man suffered serious head and back injuries when he fell from a ute.
Emergency services were called to Haly Street about 7:15pm.
Initial information suggested the man had stepped up on to the sidestep and was holding on to the side of the slow-moving ute before falling and hitting his head.
Paramedics, including critical care paramedics, treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Wondai Showgrounds where he was transferred to a waiting medevac helicopter.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
