There are now less than 100 active confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Queensland.

The latest figures released by Queensland Health on Tuesday show no new cases have been recorded since Monday.

There are 93 active cases; of these 14 patients are in hospital including six in intensive care units.

The total number of confirmed cases in Queensland since the pandemic began remains at 1033, including 934 people who have recovered.

Of these, 798 people acquired the disease overseas, 18 were infected interstate, and 173 acquired it locally from a known contact.

There are 42 cases for which the source of the infection is unknown.

There is still one active case in the Darling Downs Health Region, in Toowoomba.
