A person was treated for smoke inhalation at Nanango Hospital after a large shed caught on fire in Blackbutt on Wednesday night.

The fire, in Thomas Street, was reported to emergency services at 9:45pm.

Ambulance paramedics assessed two people at the scene.

A QAS spokesperson said one patient was transported to Nanango Hospital in a stable condition while a second declined any further assistance.

Firefighters found the shed well-involved in flames when they arrived.

A QFES spokesperson said two fire crews were called to the incident.

They brought the fire under control by 10:10pm and were dampening out hotspots at 10:30pm.

They left the scene at 12:50pm.

Fire investigators returned on Thursday morning and determined the cause of the fire was not suspicious.
