Queensland has had just five new cases of COVID-19 confirmed since Tuesday, however one of these is in the Darling Downs Health region.
The State total is now 999, which includes 442 recovered patients and five deaths.
(NB. Queensland Health revised down the total cases from April 14 from 998 to 994.)
There are currently 16 active cases in the Darling Downs Health region with the vast majority in Toowoomba. Other active cases are in Miles and Oakey.
Twenty-five Darling Downs Health patients have recovered.
Nationally, at 1:11pm on Wednesday there had been 6439 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia, including 63 deaths.
More than 3500 people have recovered.
